Admissions

Registration is on a first-come first-served basis.  Each registered student is registering for and committed to all of the classes offered through the H.E.A.R.T. program for the entire nine-month school session.

How Do I Register?

Step 1:

After reading the handbook in its entirety and deciding that the program is right for your child(ren), please complete the H.E.A.R.T. Registration Forms.

Note to Parents of Kindergarten Students: Because of the length of the day and the subjects taught, our program isn’t suited for all kindergarteners. If your child is in kindergarten, please be certain that he or she is ready for our program before you register. No refunds will be given.

Step 2:

Please sign and have your child(ren) sign the Policy Acceptance form, the Personal Information Release, the Medical Release and the Insurance Waiver.

Step 3:

If you are enrolling students who are in kindergarten through fourth grade, please review the Service Commitment section of the handbook and complete the Service Commitment Form. If you are enrolling students who are in fifth through eighth grade, no service hours are required.

Step 4:

Please write a check for the amount of one month’s tuition made payable to The Village Church of Barrington. This payment will go toward your May 2010 tuition and is non-refundable.

• Kindergarten—4th grade students - $93/month ($837/year)
• 5th-8th grade all-day students - $98/month ($882/year) + fees
• 5th-8th grade morning students - $55/month ($498/year)
• 5th-8th grade afternoon students - $34/month ($306/year) + fees

There are additional fees associated with some of our classes (payment is due with registration):

• Bible Study - $15.00 (for study materials)
• Home Economics - $20.00 (for food and other supplies)
• Sculpting - $30.00 (for sculpting materials)
• Sewing - $20.00 (for sewing materials)
• Woodworking - $30.00 (for building materials)
  

Monthly tuition installments are due on the first Thursday of each month. Tuition may be paid in advance.

Step 5:

Send all completed forms (H.E.A.R.T. Registration Form, Policy Acceptance Form, Personal Information Release, Medical Release, Insurance Waiver and Service Commitment Form (if applicable)) and your tuition and fee payments to:

Checks should be made payable to the Village Church of Barrington. Please be sure that all forms are filled out accurately and completely and that your initial payment is included with all of your forms. Incomplete registration forms can not be processed and may result in your child losing a spot in the program.
